Starbucks LOVE Project offers Music, Charity, Sustainability

Long-standing corporate sustainability exemplar Starbucks has once again taken the front seat with its holiday music offering.  This time partnering with (RED), the musical ensemble featuring artists such as U2 and Dave Matthews Band, the seasonal CD is offered for $9.95 in most markets or FREE if customers purchase $15 or more in Starbucks locations.  For each Starbucks LOVE Project CD distributed (sold or given) Starbucks will donate $1 to the (RED) Aids in Africa project.

You can link to the (RED) website on entertainment website Polyvore at http://www.polyvore.com/starbucks_red_all_you_need/contest.show?id=107375

To view Starbucks sustainability scorecard and even customize your own view of a corporate sustainability report (customers are stakeholders too) go to http://www.starbucksloveproject.com/ and follow the links.

Happy holidays.
